Naxos Avondale Specialty Casualty, Inc.

Chris Maciejewski is President and Chief Executive Officer. He joined Naxos Avondale Specialty Casualty in July 2009 and is responsible for the management and oversight of the Naxos Avondale operation.

Over the course of more than 35 years in the insurance industry, Chris has held various underwriting and senior management positions and gained significant insight in the excess & surplus lines industry, most recently as President of Aspen Specialty Insurance.

After beginning his insurance career with Kemper insurance as an underwriting specialist, Chris advanced his career, holding underwriting and senior management positions with Sayer & Toso, Falcon Insurance, Lexington Insurance and First State Management, where as Senior Vice President he was responsible at various times for the marketing and underwriting of General Liability, Excess/ Umbrella, E&O and specialty programs.

Chris has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts and holds the CPCU and RPLU designations.

David Lewis joined Naxos Avondale in August 2009 as Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer bringing over 20 years of casualty insurance experience.

Prior to joining Naxos Avondale, David was with Aspen Specialty Insurance where he was most recently Executive Vice President, Chief Casualty Underwriter with responsibility for the E&S casualty product and operations in the USA. Prior positions include various casualty management and underwriting positions with American International Group, Zurich Insurance, Crum & Forster and Hartford Specialty.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts with a major in Economics.
